Fencing "Starfighter 2" Shoes

A fencing shoe that is priced for the needs of the beginner or recreational fencer. This shoe is lower in price but works far better than non fencing high priced trainers for fencing. Its real rubber sole, cross hatched for traction on the piste, lasts long, cushions footwork while its inside ankle support works to avoid foot rollover during the lunge. The mesh upper is reinforced by suede on the inside of the foot exactly where fencers place stress and wear during footwork protecting the shoe and fencer alike. This double layering allows lateral support for the foot. Additional cushioning on the heel and back trim works to prevent irritation on the tendon while anchoring the heel. From top to bottom, this affordable shoe is built with fencing in mind, not modified from another sport as found in the name-brands. It may come in a plastic bag but why pay extra for a name and a box?
