Saber: This European-made blade is high end design but moderately priced. Like other high end European sabre blades it has a thicker forte which pushes the balance towards the hand for control while the Y cross section gives rigidity and light weight. Made of top quality steel, this blade holds its shape well. Fully s2000 compliant.

Lame: Our entry sabre lame is made of highly conductive copper. It is durable and should provide years of use if cared is taken. Copper does corrode over time and use reducing conductivity. However, the balance between cost and durability make this a good choice for clubs and schools or for those starting electric sabre fencing.

Body Cord: Entirely legal to FIE and USFA standards, and like our econo two prong cord, this is excellent value and quality. What makes this ‘super’ is the superior build and quality of the econo cord added to the transparent wire insulation for easy visual inspection of the cord. Unlike many other economy priced body wires, our alligator clips, for example, are both soldered and screwed, while our plugs are held into place by metal wires rather than breakable plastic clips and held German style in place. Highly conductive heavy gauge wires reduce breakage, especially near the end plugs where cord twist is common. Pins are equally superior, with overlapping layers for better conductivity and durability, giving solid contact. Please note, color of plugs may vary from picture.
